Football Recap: Creekview Beats Sunset for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Creekview had won two straight games and Cason Garcia did his part to make it three on Friday. The Mustangs blew past the Sunset Bison, posting a 52-14 win with plenty of help from Garcia, who threw for 390 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards on only five carries. Garcia is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Creekview, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brendyn Shed, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Creekview's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sunset, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Creekview will challenge rival Molina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sunset is set to face off against their familiar foe Newman Smith at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
