Softball Game Preview: Mesa Verde Mavericks vs. Golden Sierra Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Mesa Verde will face off against Golden Sierra. The Mavericks will challenge the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mesa Verde has given up an average of 16.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mesa Verde will head out to face Golden Sierra after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Mavericks came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 17-9.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mesa Verde has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .619. However, it's not like Golden Sierra struggles in that department as they've averaged .435. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
