Softball Recap: South Pointe Stallions vs. Dreher Blue Devils

South Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dreher Blue Devils, falling 25-17. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 last Tuesday.

Katelynne Blythe stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-5 with four runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Traji Curbeam also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.
