Basketball Recap: Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Aggieland HomeSchool on Saturday. The Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool Knights took a hard 74-57 fall against the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Knights came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 146th in Oklahoma, while the Panthers are ranked 447th in Texas).

Micah Krajca was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds for Aggieland HomeSchool. That's the most points Krajca has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ethan Cox, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 18 points and six assists.

Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-16 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. The victory made it two in a row for Aggieland HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 21-11.

Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they will face off against Houston HomeSchool on Thursday. Houston HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 games -- so hopefully Aggieland HomeSchool likes a good challenge.
