Basketball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer lost against Neillsville back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spencer Rockets were beaten by the Neillsville Warriors 73-10. The matchup marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Alexa Weber was Spencer's leading scorer, having posted four points. Hannah Schreiner held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Spencer dropped their record down to 7-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Neillsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spencer has already played their next contest (against Columbus Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Neillsville has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Greenwood.
