Baseball Recap: Wilmington Greyhounds vs. Jamestown Muskies

Wilmington was handed a two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Jamestown on Monday. The Wilmington Greyhounds put the hurt on the Jamestown Muskies with a sharp 19-5 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wilmington also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Ben Miller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and a triple. Shane Book was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

On Jamestown's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Pressler, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a double.

The win got Wilmington back to even at 1-1.

Wilmington will be playing at home against Sharpsville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Jamestown will take on Northwestern at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwestern has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something Jamestown will no doubt try to take advantage of.
