Soccer Recap: Kell Comes Up Short

Kell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cambridge Bears, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Kell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 348th, while Cambridge are ranked 21st).

Kell's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cambridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Kell wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Blessed Trinity on the 25th. As for Cambridge, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Centennial on the 25th.
