Dunkirk is 9-1 against Allegany-Limestone since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Marauders will be playing at home against the Gators at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Dunkirk's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Allegany-Limestone has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Monday, it was close, but Dunkirk sidestepped Olean for an 8-6 win.

Anthony Piede was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gabe Valentine, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Allegany-Limestone was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against Olean, falling 12-2.

Allegany-Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Dunkirk, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Dunkirk was able to grind out a solid win over Allegany-Limestone in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 3-0. Will the Marauders repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
