 Norton waltzed into their contest  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Coventry Comets onto the board and left with  a   9-0  victory. Norton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matchups by nine  runs or more this season.
  Andrew Lewis looked comfortable as he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.  Jackson Lewis relieved him and did a solid job,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Justin Fuller, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Jacob Ford was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Norton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Coventry, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 Norton will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Waynedale at 5:00  p.m. Waynedale's pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so Norton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Coventry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garfield Community Learning Center at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
