Basketball Recap: Suttons Bay Takes a Loss

Suttons Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Onekama Portagers. While losing is never fun, the Norsemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Portagers are ranked 178th).

Suttons Bay's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Onekama, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Suttons Bay will take on Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Onekama, they will welcome Suttons Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
