Basketball Recap: Simpson Takes a Loss

Simpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 77-43 loss at the hands of the Pickering Red Devils. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Pickering, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Simpson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-36 defeat against Singer on the 11th. As for Pickering, they will look to defend their home court on January 17th against East Beauregard at 6:00 p.m.
