Baseball Recap: Long Beach Poly Comes Up Short

Long Beach Poly lost to Woodrow Wilson back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jackrabbits fell 6-3 to the Bruins.

Long Beach Poly saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fausto Gaxiola III, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Long Beach Poly's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Woodrow Wilson, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

Long Beach Poly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop Montgomery at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bruins 3.4, the Knights 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
