Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. McKenzie took their game with ease, bagging a 50-20 victory over Elba. McKenzie has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Elba, too.

McKenzie's defense made their presence known, laying out Powell Bane. four times. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Ayden Willsey and Jack Locklear, who each picked up one sack apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Elba lost, don't look at Tyceson Davis. Despite the final result, he rushed for 142 yards and three scores on only 14 carries.

McKenzie pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Elba, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
