Basketball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

If Midway was riding high fresh off their 68-35 takedown of Greenback last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Midway Green Wave took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harriman Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-55 back in January.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Harriman, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Greenback the next time they take the court. Midway will head out to face Greenback at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harriman will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
