Baseball Recap: New Richmond Lions vs. Wilmington Hurricane
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Richmond). They put the hurt on the Wilmington Hurricane with a sharp 13-2 win on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Hurricane recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Hunter Ashley, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. He has become a key player for New Richmond: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three hits, but 5-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Davis, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
