Baseball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood lost against Hazleton Area back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crestwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Mylet, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Hazleton Area, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Crestwood has already played their next match, an 11-0 win against Berwick on the 15th. As for Hazleton Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-7 victory against Dallas on the 15th.
