Volleyball Recap: Westfield's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Westfield challenged Fort Bend Bush on Thursday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Broncos. The game marked the first time this season in which the Mustangs were not able to get on the board.

While Westfield was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Westfield's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2. As for Fort Bend Bush, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-8.

Westfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Madison on the 22nd. As for Fort Bend Bush, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Ball on the 22nd.
