On Wednesday, Wiregrass Ranch faced Sunlake in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls fell just short of the Sunlake Seahawks by a score of 3-2. The Bulls' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Alexei Leon and JP Tapias scored both of Wiregrass Ranch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Wiregrass Ranch's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2. As for Sunlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.
