Guilford is 8-2 against Rockford East since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Vikings will square off against the E-Rabs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Guilford and 26 for Rockford East dating back to last season.

Guilford lost 11-1 to Hononegah on Friday.

Guilford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amiyah Wyrick, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Rockford East scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Harlem, falling 19-1.

Rockford East's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything went Guilford's way against Rockford East in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Guilford made off with a 17-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
