Elizabeth had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sierra Stallions as they made off with a 21-0 victory. Considering the Cardinals have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Elizabeth got a massive performance out of Cole Robinson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Robinson a new career-high. Walker Blanchard was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Elizabeth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.

Elizabeth pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Sierra, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Elizabeth beat the Stallions by a score of 25-0 later that day.
