Baseball Game Preview: Brooklyn Technical Engineers vs. John Jay Indians

Brooklyn Technical hasn't had much luck against John Jay recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Engineers will head out to square off against the Indians at 4:00 p.m. Brooklyn Technical's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so John Jay's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, Brooklyn Technical and Newtown finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, John Jay got themselves on the board against Midwood on Thursday, but Midwood never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Hornets. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won nine in a row.

John Jay's win bumped their record up to 9-5. With that draw, Brooklyn Technical's record moves to 3-0-1.

Brooklyn Technical suffered a grim 14-5 defeat to John Jay in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Engineers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
