Recap: Bandera BULLDOGS vs. Carrizo Springs Wildcats
The Bandera BULLDOGS entered their tilt with the Carrizo Springs Wildcats with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Bandera came out on top against Carrizo Springs by a score of 41-29 on Friday. Bandera's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Jesse Cardenas went supernova for Bandera, rushing for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 116 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Bandera's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Carrizo Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Bandera will square off against Jarrell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carrizo Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
