Basketball Game Preview: Benson Bunnies vs. Papillion-LaVista Monarchs

The Benson Bunnies will head out to take on the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Benson lost to Columbus at home by a 48-32 margin. The Bunnies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista humbled Fremont with a 68-40 victory. The Monarchs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Papillion-LaVista now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Benson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Benson came out on top in a nail-biter against Papillion-LaVista when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 66-64. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Papillion-LaVista's Rease Murtaugh, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards.
