Volleyball Game Preview: Peru Nighthawks vs. Plattsburgh Hornets + How To Watch

The Peru Nighthawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Plattsburgh Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Peru got the win against AuSable Valley by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Nighthawks.

Peru walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Plattsburgh made easy work of Lake Placid on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Bombers: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

Peru's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Plattsburgh, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Everything went Peru's way against Plattsburgh when the teams last played back in September, as Peru made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Nighthawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
