Volleyball Recap: Turpin Takes a Loss

The Turpin Spartans lost 3-0 to the Milford Eagles on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Drew Ward was the offensive standout of the contest as he had nine digs and two aces.

Turpin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Milford, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Turpin will challenge rival Walnut Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Milford is set to square off against their familiar foe Kings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
