There's no place like home for Bloomfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their 11-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 19-25, 25-15, 25-14.

Eastern Greene lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kierington Wyatt, who had 14 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Quimby, who had 18 digs and two assists.

Bloomfield's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-15. As for Eastern Greene, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Edgewood on the 25th. As for Eastern Greene, they will face off against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
