Millbrook put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Broughton Capitals. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Reece Kuhns looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jack Strom, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Clay, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Millbrook pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Broughton, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Millbrook and Broughton will both be playing Leesville Road the next time they take the field. Millbrook will host Leesville Road at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Broughton will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
