Softball Recap: Keller Central Comes Up Short

Keller Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-6 to the Byron Nelson Bobcat. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcat from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Keller Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Byron Nelson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keller Central will host Trinity at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Keller Central has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Byron Nelson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southlake Carroll at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Byron Nelson will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
