Baseball Game Preview: Childersburg Tigers vs. Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights

The Childersburg Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Childersburg is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Childersburg after they put the first runs on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Altamont. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly three runs.

Meanwhile, Westminster School at Oak Mountain came up short against Oak Grove on Friday, falling 10-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Childersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15-1. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Childersburg took their win against Westminster School at Oak Mountain in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
