Basketball Game Preview: New Egypt Warriors vs. Academy Charter

The New Egypt Warriors will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Academy Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

New Egypt is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bernards. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Academy Charter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 73-67 to Keansburg.

New Egypt didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Academy Charter in their previous meeting back in February of 2018, but they still walked away with a 47-43 victory. Does New Egypt have another victory up their sleeve, or will Academy Charter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
