Soccer Game Preview: Kerman vs. Sanger

The Kerman Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Sanger Apaches at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Kerman's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kerman faced off against Lemoore on Tuesday. Kerman's defense stepped up to hand Lemoore a 1-0 shutout. The Lions' winning goal came courtesy of Angel Rincon.

Meanwhile, Sanger fell victim to Reedley and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for Kerman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6-1 record this season.
