Corona took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Sultana, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Sultans 1-0. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Corona's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sultana, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corona will venture away from home to take on Elsinore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sultana, they will challenge Silverado at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
