Volleyball Game Preview: Hercules Titans vs. Swett Warriors

Hercules is a perfect 4-0 against Swett since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Hercules will look to defend their home court against Swett at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Hercules is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Albany just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 25-16 in the first set.

Hercules actually scored more points across those four sets (95-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Swett came up short against KIPP King on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Swett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Hercules, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Hercules was able to grind out a solid victory over Swett in their previous meeting on Monday, winning 3-1. Will Hercules repeat their success, or does Swett has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
