Soccer Recap: Columbia City Comes Up Short

Columbia City lost against DeKalb back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Barons by a score of 2-1.

Columbia City's goal came courtesy of Bela LaRue, who's now up to two this season.

Columbia City now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for DeKalb, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Columbia City didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers on the 11th. As for DeKalb, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Carroll on the 11th.
