Football Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Capital was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Huntington Highlanders 38-6. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Highlanders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Capital's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Huntington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Capital will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Spring Valley at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Huntington, they will host Parkersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
