Volleyball Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

Seguin lost against Floresville back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Matadors fell 2-0 to the Tigers/Jaguars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13.

Rebeka Wilke paced Seguin's offense, picking up four kills. Wilke got some help from Gisele Morales and her ten assists. Finally, Wilke was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Seguin now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Floresville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Seguin will stay at home for another game and welcome Wimberley at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Floresville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
