Basketball Recap: Buckeye Central Comes Up Short

Buckeye Central lost against Seneca East back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buckeye Central Bucks took a hard 49-35 fall against the Seneca East Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 453rd, while the Tigers are ranked 204th).

Buckeye Central dropped their record down to 6-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Seneca East, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckeye Central will welcome Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca East has already played their next match (against Wynford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
