Lakeside School lost to Macon-East Montgomery Academy back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chiefs snuck past the Knights with a 39-34 win.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamya Powell, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 20 rebounds. Powell is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mollie Ross, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Lakeside School's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Lakeside School will head out on the road to square off against Abbeville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, they will be playing at home against Crenshaw Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
