Volleyball Recap: Bonneville Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bonneville won the last time they faced Northridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lakers put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win.

Bonneville never let Northridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 28-26.

Talon Rocha paced Bonneville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rocha got some help from Jase Musgrave and his 33 assists. Musgrave also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Semisi Christensen, racking up four apiece.

Bonneville's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14. As for Northridge, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bonneville will take on rival Clearfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Woods Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
