Baseball Recap: Cordova Wolves vs. Germantown Red Devils
After flying high against Ridgeway last Friday, Cordova came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the Germantown Red Devils on Wednesday, falling 19-6. The Wolves have struggled against the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Logan Chapman and Terralonce Parker did some serious damage despite the final result: Chapman went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run, while Parker got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Rangel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Germantown, their record now sits at 8-9.
