Volleyball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redhawks of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Monroe still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Izoteco-Lopez, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Forest Hills, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Monroe has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Parkwood on the 11th. As for Forest Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Central Academy of Technology & Arts on the 11th.
