Baseball Recap: Linden Comes Up Short

The Linden Tigers came up short against the Keyport Raiders on Tuesday and fell 7-2.

Linden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Gonzalez has hit this season.

Linden's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Keyport, their record is now 12-1.

Coincidentally, Linden and Keyport will both be playing Perth Amboy Vo-Tech the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
