Football Recap: St. Teresa Comes Up Short

St. Teresa scored first but ultimately less than Illini West in their contest on Friday. They lost to the Chargers on the road by a 34-15 margin. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chargers 7-0 in the first quarter.

Although St. Teresa took the loss, they still got scores from Stephen Kralik and Reid Douglass.

St. Teresa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Illini West, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, St. Teresa will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Prairie Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Illini West, they are taking a road trip to take on Macomb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
