Softball Recap: Taylorville Tornadoes vs. Central A & M Raiders

Taylorville fell victim to Central A & M and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central A & M Raiders.

PEYTON DeMICHEAL spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On Central A & M's side, the result came thanks to Gwyn Hardimon's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Alana Harlow was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Snearly, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
