Ridgeview/Lexington hadn't done well against Fieldcrest recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Mustangs breezed past the Knights to the tune of  46-8. The  game marked the Mustangs' most dominant  win of the  season.
 Despite the loss, Fieldcrest still got an impressive performance from   Lucas Anson, who rushed for 120 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also caught one  touchdown. Anson's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102  rushing yards.
Ridgeview/Lexington pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 29.8 points over those games. As for Fieldcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Ridgeview/Lexington has already played their next contest,  a  28-19  defeat against Deer Creek-Mackinaw on the 17th. As for Fieldcrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  a  34-6  loss against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley on the 17th.
