Basketball Recap: Oxbow Comes Up Short

Oxbow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stowe Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Olympians have suffered since December 23, 2024.

Oxbow's record is now 5-12. As for Stowe, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxbow will head out to take on Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Stowe, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hazen knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Stowe likes a good challenge.
