Softball Recap: East Pennsboro Takes a Loss

East Pennsboro easily dispatched Harrisburg on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Panthers fell just short of the Middletown Blue Raiders by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-10 back in March.

East Pennsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Middletown, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Pennsboro will venture away from home to challenge Susquehanna Township at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Middletown, they will head out to take on Trinity at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Shamrocks will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Blue Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
