Basketball Recap: Port of Los Angeles Wins Going Away Against Dymally

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jordan, Port of Los Angeles was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 87-77 win over the Dymally Challengers. That ten point margin sets a new team best for the Polar Bears this season.

Port of Los Angeles' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Smith, who dropped a triple-double with 22 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. That's the most boards Smith has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Adham Samir, who put up 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Smith wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Port of Los Angeles was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Port of Los Angeles' win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Dymally, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

As of now, neither Port of Los Angeles nor Dymally have any future games scheduled.
