Basketball Recap: Sleepy Eye Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Sleepy Eye Indians came up short against the Hancock Owls and fell 64-54. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sleepy Eye's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hancock, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Sleepy Eye will be playing in front of their home fans against Nicollet at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Hancock, they will venture away from home to square off against Battle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hancock is facing Battle Lake at the right time seeing as Battle Lake is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
