The Grandview Wolves will challenge the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 11:30  a.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Grandview was able to grind out a solid  win over Smoky Hill, taking the game  3-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolves.
 Grandview walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-17,  25-13.
Cheyenne Mountain typically has all the answers at home, but  on Thursday Lewis-Palmer proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Red-Tailed Hawks by a score of  3-1.
 Lewis-Palmer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-20, 25-17,  26-24.
Grandview better focus on containing  Olivia Ivall and  Ariana O'Connor as the pair were huge in Lewis-Palmer's win. Ivall  had six  digs and three  aces, while  O'Connor  had 22  digs and ten  kills. O'Connor has been hot, having  posted five or more  kills the last eight times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cady Knight, who  had 21  digs.
 Lewis-Palmer  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September.
 Grandview's record now sits at 8-11. As for Lewis-Palmer, their record is now 12-7.
 Grandview came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewis-Palmer in their previous meeting  back in November of 2019, sneaking past  3-2. Do  the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
